Paige de Wees (@paige.dewees) is a realtor, writer, and mother who has been living in the West 7th neighborhood of St. Paul for most of the last 25 years. As a child Paige moved from Colorado to Minnesota and ever since this uproot, Paige knew the spiritual and intrinsic value of home. After studying religion and poetry in college, she worked in refugee resettlement, furthering her study of how home, and the lack thereof shapes us.
Her years of experience in real estate includes buying and selling, rehabbing, lease option, contract for deed, subto, tax foreclosure, rental, and she is an AirBnB superhost. She has her eye on the development of affordable housing, and is an innovator at heart: where some see a swamp, she envisions a pool club. As a skilled DIY’er she renovated her 1900 home in the West 7th top to bottom where she lives for each day with her son and three chickens: Houston, Cheryl and Peanut.
