I actually went through the house buying processing 1.85 times with Michael. The first (what I consider the .85) time, in early 2012, I was single and trying to figure out what I wanted as a first time home buyer. Michael was very professional and really took the time to explain to me my different options along with how the process works. I made an offer on a home (thankfully contingent on inspection) and when the inspection helped me recognize the home was going to be much more work than I was willing to undertake on my own, he was incredibly skilled in making it comfortable to not complete the deal and gracious when I decided to take a step back from the home purchasing process for a while.
Fast forward to fall 2013, I was engaged and looking to buy a home with my soon to be husband. Mike was once again an incredibly strong resource and helped us find our current home. He continually demonstrated his knowledge of many different areas of Minneapolis and surrounding suburbs that gave us great confidence in our decision making. He took in our feedback with each home and responded accordingly to help us find the perfect home for the two of us. Then, when we ran into a hiccup with the inspection and financing process, he was a strong advocate on our behalf and helped us navigate a way forward to ensure that we were able to close the deal in early 2014. We have now happily occupied our home for almost a year now.

Michael is incredible!
We first met while touring a house down the street from where we were renting. He was the listing agent, but he had also done some redesign construction on the place. We loved it, but we weren’t ready to buy yet. We loved his work on that place, and we immediately felt like we could really trust him… so we asked him to start showing us houses. He was really easy to work with, and supper laid back. He let us go at our pace, and really helped us to figure out what we were looking for.
Mike is fantastic at balancing a laid back vibe with expert guidance on the purchase process. When we were ready to make an offer on a house, Mike was like Johnny-on-the-spot. Every little thing that came up he was on top of it. I don’t know when the guy sleeps! The first house that we made an offer on ended up being fraught with peril (crazy seller). Mike was like an expert wizard guide helping us get out of a bad deal with our initial deposit in tact. We were feeling pretty burned after pulling out of that first deal, but incredibly grateful for Mike because he was the one who helped us get out of it!
The next time that we made an offer on a house everything went smoothly. Mike was just as on top of things as ever, and there was no peril to be seen:) He got us into our dream house, and became a trusted friend in the process. Mike is the best… anyone who says otherwise is selling something.

Michael is one of the very hardest working Realstate professionals in the Twin Cities. Further out from the cities as well, from what I understand.
The few main points that I want to emphasize are as follows.
You will be listened to and treated very thoughtfully and respectfully, as in, attentive, intuitive, quiet, information gathering, on Mikes part.
There is absolutely no ulterior motives present in his being. In other words, you can look at a ton of listings, and you will never “feel”, Mike changing his vibe. That is, getting annoyed, nervous, pushy and definitely not a desperate type vibe! All these personality qualities in Mike, allow for a unbiased, un pressured, very important decision making experience for you and maybe loved ones as well. One last thing is, that Mike has been a General Contractor, restoring properties for eons. This was a huge sell to me personally, as, you pretty much have an inspector (just because of his restoration experience), showing homes to you! As opposed to Realtors who have never nailed in wood flooring or replaced a light bulb! Mike is a Guru! Feel blessed knowing that you have one of the best and well connected representatives for you, and especially for such an important decision and process to see to fruition! It will all go well.
